The event is a high adrenaline 90 minutes spanning 5k, jam-packed with challenging obstacles and, of course, lots of mud. The layout of the event is slightly different this year, with groups each taking off with Nuclear Races staff to motivate you at each obstacle!

 The EY Foundation is a national, independent charity that builds aspiration, confidence and a greater sense of purpose by providing the knowledge, skills and experience young people need to thrive in the workplace. It tackles the barriers to employment faced by young people from low-income backgrounds and through their programmes, they help young people unlock their potential and succeed in the workplace.

Proceeds from the Mud Trial will help the EY Foundation build better futures for young people who are eligible for Free School Meals (which means a household income of less than £16,190). Enabling us to continue supporting them by providing paid employability skills training and work experience, mentoring and alumni activities throughout 2026 and beyond.
